Basin Harbor Club
Basin Harbor Club
Vergennes, VT
Originally a 225-acre working farm catering to summer boarders, Basin Harbor Club has expanded to cover 700-acres of Vermont‘s most pristine land along the shores of Lake Champlain, encompassing the main lodge and 3 guest houses, 74 cottages, a championship 18-hole golf course, spectacular gardens, a 3,200 foot grass airstrip, and the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum—an organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Lake Champlain.
Your culinary experience will be a memorable one at Basin Harbor. The resort has a formal dining room where guests enjoy delicious, multi-course meals, or try th Red Mill, our gastro-pub inspired casual restaurant with local source food products from around Addision County. Several times per week, guests and transients get the unique opportunity to eat outdoors on the North Dock; menus range from lavish lobster bakes to Harbor Fair cookout with plenty of fun activities for the whole family like hayrides and live entertainment.
With plenty of signature adirondack chairs to relax in, Basin Harbor also offers a variety of activites including: sailing, kayaking, guided cruises, nature walks, childrens programs, craft and cooking classes, wellness programs, waterskiing, dockside dinners, biking, and so much more! Easily accessible by land, air and water, once here, you don't need to leave.
Over a century old, the property is rich with history and is a member of the Historical Hotels of America. Basin Harbor Club was established in 1886 by Ardelia Beach and has remained family owned ever since. Today, guests are greeted by fourth generation hosts, Pennie Beach and Robert H. Beach, Jr.
