Guests enjoy private seating in the large dining room and adjoining wraparound porch. Complimentary breakfast features a bountiful hot and cold buffet plus your choice of cooked-to-order specialties. Our menu takes full advantage of locally grown, fresh ingredients sourced from Berkshire farms including our own Hilltop Orchards.
The original house was aptly named “Butternut Cottage” for the abundance of butternut trees on the property. It featured three steeply pitched cross-gables, a steep gambrel roof line, room layout and side chimneys which blend elements of late 18th century American colonial architecture, with English and Dutch influences typical of Berkshire and Hudson Valley homes of the day.

It has been lovingly tended for and now maintains historical integrity combined with modern amenities.

The Eladesor Cottage is adjacent to the Inn with a private entrance and houses two suites. The Furnace Brook Suite on the ground floor and Hilltop Orchards Suite on the second floor. Photo shown is the sitting area of the Furnace Brook Suite.

These two Suites, named after the owner's nearby farm winery, feature private porches, wood burning fireplaces and sitting areas. The Furnace Brook Suite features a queen size bed while the Hilltop Orchards Suite above features two bedrooms (one with queen bed and one with two twins).
