When it began offering accommodations and meals to travelers, George Washington was in the first year of his presidency and the Revolutionary War had ended just six years before.

Feel like you have stepped back in time to 18th century New England but, with all the modern conveniences of today. Fireplaces, antiques, and hand-painted murals are backdrops to this romantic setting.
The Hancock Inn remains true to its origin, filled with colonial-style furniture, antiques from New England and paintings and curios “of the period.”
