Breakfasts are served in our beautiful conservatory, which is the perfect setting to awaken your senses with a steaming cup of tea or fresh brewed coffee.  A fresh fruit dish (using local fruits when available) may be drizzled in a coconut lime sauce or a green tea-mint syrup.  A basket of Japanese milk bread, served with butter and locally produced jams will accompany breakfast.  These fragrant mini loaves are an Ormsby Hill exclusive, shaped and baked fresh every morning by Diane.
The main course consists of a hot entree such as a polenta souffle with rainbow chard, herbed cherry tomato strata or mascarpone stuffed French toast with berry maple syrup, and a side of Vermont breakfast meats such as maple sausage or bacon.
Breakfasts include home grown and local, seasonal ingredients when possible and are delicious, fulfilling and healthful.


 

Located in the beautiful Battenkill Valley, at the foothills of Mount Equinox and the Green Mountains.  The Inn at Ormsby Hill sits on a hill with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains.  As you pass through our antique wrought iron gates, you will find peace and serenity.

Sitting Room of the Frances Suite:  This very large two room suite has his and her bathrooms (with jacuzzi for two and steam sauna for two).  The suite also has two flat-screen televisions, a wood burning fireplace, a private deck overlooking a spectacular view of the Green Mountains, king canopy bed, wet bar and refrigerator - it just does not get any better than this!

Other Rooms Include:
Tower:  This split level room has views of both the Taconic Mountains in the front of the inn and the Green Mountain range in the  back.  The spacious room has a queen size canopy bed, sitting area with sofa and chair, fireplace, jacuzzi tub and steam shower for two.

Ethan Allen:  This first floor room has a private entrance and private deck to relax and enjoy the Green Mountains.  This room offers a cottage feel with a queen canopy bed and jacuzzi tub, both with views of the fireplace.  This room was recognized as a "Waverly Room of the Year" by Country Inns.

Relax in the seclusion of our Ethan Allen guest room, which boasts a private deck with mountain views and an outside entrance.  Ethan Allen, with its cottage feel, features a queen canopy bed and whirlpool hot tub.  Wake each morning to views of the Green Mountains.
