Summertime we offer a Rangeley Lake Boat Tour every Friday from the docks of Loon Lodge. Golf the local courses Mingo Springs and Evergreen or take a short drive to Sugarloaf Golf course. Many more activities and attractions are available for your enjoyment spring, summer or fall. Fish, Kayak or canoe the many lakes, streams, and ponds in the area. Experience the beauty of mountains & vistas with a guided Mountain Climbing tour. Easy day Hikers can follow the Appalachian Trail to Piazza Rock or leisurely stroll through Hunters Cove Sanctuary.
Rangeley winters bring you to the slopes for snowboarding & alpine skiing at Saddleback Mt. Snowshoeing or cross-country skiing at Rangeley Lakes Trail Center. Snowmobiling is another great sport and Rangeley’s snowmobile trails will lead you throughout the Rangeley area, Interstate and into the back country for a true snowmoile experience. Our snowmobile ramp for lake access will lead you to all ITS trails. Enjoy winter festivals like “Snodeo” in January, a snowmobilers gathering and competition. The RaveX extreme snowmobilers are always a great family show to watch, presented by Boss Power Equipment, the local Arctic Cat & Ski-Doo Dealership.

Located on the lower level with its own private deck to the gardens, beach and dock will accommodate up to 60 guests.
Private Dining Room
A private dining room is an ideal setting for small reunions, intimate family gatherings, or special celebrations. Accommodating up to 20 guests, the room is tastefully decorated in warm reds, natural woods, oriental carpets, quilted wall hangings, lofted ceiling with soft lighting and of course views of the lake. You have the option ro order from the menu or discuss a special menu with our party planner and Executive Chef. This room must be booked in advance.

Loon Lodge accommodations on Rangeley Lake are intimate with a total of 9 guest rooms: 2 family suites, 2 king rooms and 5 queen rooms. Nostalgic guest rooms on the 2nd floor still capture the bygone era of 100 years past. Our lower level was renovated in 2001; although contemporary, its décor captures our rustic elegance. Your retreat includes no phone, no TVs, and no interruptions. Loon Lodge is also a pet-free and smoke-free environment. Our mission is to make your stay truly a memorable and stress free one no matter the season.
