Welcome to the Norwich Inn. This one of a kind, historic property dates back to 1797 when Dartmouth graduate, Jasper Murdock served his first guest. The Norwich Inn features fine dining in our formal dining room or newly renovated terrace as well as a more relaxed feel in our brewpub, Jasper Murdock's Alehouse.  All dining areas offer the same menu with lots of variety to encorporate both dining experiences.  We also offer outside dining on our patio during the fine weather months.  We have our own brewery on site with our English-style beers only sold here pumped underground from our brewery right to our taps.  Come enjoy fresh, local cuisine created by Executive Chef, Cal Hingston.

The Norwich Inn has a variety of function rooms suitable for receptions, dinners and other special events.

•The Cellar: Seats up to 40 people for banquets; 30 for meetings; can accommodate 70 people for a reception. Includes private bar, fireplace, wine cellar.
•The Terrace: Seats up 40 people for banquets.
•The Library: Great for meetings and private dinners up to 18 people.
•The Wine room: Private dining for up to 12 people.
The living room of the Inn is also available for private receptions.

This Dartmouth area inn provides a variety of Vermont lodging options which can accommodate individual needs for space and budget. There are 17 rooms available in the historic Main Inn. Each is decorated with Victorian antiques and traditional country furnishings. All of our Vermont lodging accommodations provide private bath, TV, telephone, air conditioning, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards, while free high speed wireless internet service is available throughout the Inn.

The Norwich Inn offers 38 sleeping rooms with many different lodging options.  Our Main Inn has 16 rooms, all with a true New England Inn feel.  All of these rooms have different accommodations from rooms with one king bed to rooms with two twin beds as well as a two bedroom suite.  The Walker House is located directly behind the Main Inn and has 18 rooms, 9 on each floor.  These rooms debuted in 2010, all have gas fireplaces, flat screen televisions, and have very modern touches incorporated with elegant antiques. These rooms are individually designed by a local company to keep the "Inn Feel" with updated amenities.  The Ivy Lodge is similar to the Walker House in luxury but with only four rooms all curb-side it offers unique privacy located in the far edge of the property.  Two of the Ivy Lodge rooms are pet friendly.
