Make plans now to bring your group of friends to one of our fun and exciting scrapbooking weekends!
Check in anytime after noon on Friday and kick the weekend off with dinner, followed by our scrapbooking welcome reception. You can meet some of the other scrapbookers, catch up with old friends and set up your "office" with supplies and photographs. There will also be a vendor fair with all the latest tools, paper and scrapbooking supplies. A full schedule of workshops begins on Friday. Don’t forget to listen up for our great door prize drawings & contests taking place throughout the weekend!
You can crop till the early morning hours before catching a few minutes of sleep... then crop all the next day! We’ll have chair massage on site to soothe those tired cropping muscles, and full body massage is available at our historic Spring House.

Once you sign up, you'll receive a detailed supply list of what to bring but, the pattern is a mystery which reveals itself as it's put together! Through the weekend, you'll be guided step-by-step to a beautiful finished quilt.

This workshop is ideally timed near the peak of the fall foliage colors. This workshop is held in one of those charming areas of New England too small to find on a map. You'll love to paint the countryside and sparkling lakes of "On Golden Pond" fame. And remember the old Saturday Evening Post covers? You'll feel as if you're actually painting one in picturesque little villages like Freedom and Tamworth. It’s the 29thyear at Purity Spring Resort, which offers comfortable rooms, delicious meals, plus your 24 hour studio.
About the Artist:
Tony van Hasselt, A.W.S. loves to paint Plein Air and watercolor is his favorite medium. Living in Maine, its coastline offers an infinite source of inspiration and subject material, while teaching assignments and travels give him the opportunity to explore and paint other exciting areas of the globe.
Tony grew up in the Netherlands and worked in display and graphic design prior to arrival in the US. While attending art school in New York, he organized world-wide workshops taught by artists whose paintings he admired. Several of his idols became his mentors and friends in art. Elected to signature membership in the American Watercolor Society, van Hasselt's paintings and articles have been featured in major art magazines and instruction books.
