balconychairs_500x335Snuggled next to a sparkling stream on several acres at the edge of scenic Jackson village in the Mount Washington valley, the inn’s rooms and rustic cottage for two are distinctly appointed with historic furnishings, many with two-person Jacuzzi and/or balconies and most with fireplaces. Allow the soothing song of the river sing you to sleep, and rise to crisp mountain air and a bountiful hand crafted breakfast in our sun bathed dining room.

Take the time to explore waterfalls or enjoy picturesque drives, hiking, golf, canoeing, fishing, mountain biking, tax-free shopping, just relax with a book by our heated outdoor pool (May-September) or in the Adirondack chairs by the river. If you have sense of eco-adventure, scale Mount Washington via the Auto Road, the Cog Railway or hiking trails, take a moose tour, or a go on a mountainside horseback ride. Fall shields you with its vibrant foliage, and when the snow flies, you can cross-country ski, snowshoe, take a sleigh ride, or choose from one of five alpine ski centers nearby. During any of the four seasons, you can return from exploring the White Mountains to enjoy afternoon refreshments in our gazebo or by a blazing fire, a game of darts or billiards in our cozy game room/pub, the challenge of a Stave puzzle or board game in our sitting room, or the relaxing view of the river as you immerse yourself in our atrium-enclosed hot tub. You’ll find several fabulous restaurants in Jackson and nearby North Conway.

All year, the inn is an ideal choice for a weekend escape, a relaxing getaway, or to celebrate any occasion. Find yourselves here before life hurries on ~ we are waiting to welcome you!

The sweet entrée might be a cinnamon crepe stuffed with an apple filling and topped with crème fraîche, blueberry banana pancakes, or perhaps orange croissant french toast topped with fresh strawberries. There’s maple syrup, of course! Or opt for our savory entrée of the day which might be a double tomato, basil and mozzarella omelet, a roasted pepper and vegetable frittata, or Eggs Benedict strudel.
