January 2013: Overall traffic to NewEnglandInnsandResorts.com is up 10% over January 2012. NEIRA re-designed our skiing pages for Winter 2013 and they have seen a 200% increase in traffic over Jan 2012. In addition, the Winter Getaways & Ski and Stay Pages have produced qualified traffic to these new pages. We launched a paid campaign coupled with specials & packages keywords in late January and will begin to test that strategy. Facebook likes have increased to nearly 2,800 likes. Please check your listing page and upload new specials and content for winter/spring. NEIRA will be making some additions and updates to the site in February 2013. November: Overall website visits increased 16% for November 2012 vs. November 2011. Overall traffic growth for 2012 YTD has increased 36% over 2011 YTD. Organic traffic increased 30% with a 59% increase in search entrance pages --500 pages are driving traffic to our site this year. Our fall foliage campaigns were successful during the fall months and continue to rank well for important keywords. The Ski pages, winter getaways and holiday packages pages have been optimized and are continuing to rank well. Happy Holidays to all of you.
October: October 2012 saw 23,962 visitors to NewEnglandInnsandResorts.com. Top pages included Fall Foliage, Special & Packages (Leaf Peeper Packages), Romance, Weddings, Spa and Family. 25% visitors growth for October 2012 compared to October 2011 and 45% overall growth for 2012 YTD. 77% of visitors are unique and 20% were on a mobile device.
September: Happy Fall! September's visitor traffic is up 23% over last year. 2012 YTD visitor growth is up 40% over 2011 YTD. 78% of all traffic to the site is new visitors (unique). Fall Foliage Pages are performing well. We have seen a 325% increase YOY in organic traffic to the Fall Foliage pages. Our remarketing channel and Google Display Network campaigns are contributing to this growth. Stay tuned for more information as these campaigns progress. Also, our new display campaigns promoting family, romance and fall foliage travel to New England are live on boston.com. Downloads for the New England Inns and Resorts mobile app (android and ios) reached 1,056 as of September 30th. The New England Inns & Resorts facebook page reached 2,048 likes and a weekly reach of 99,000 as of October 3rd (up 48%- that's over 600 new fans in September!) p.s. August: In August 2012, NewEnglandInnsandResorts.com continued to experience year over year growth, with a 25% increase in total organic traffic and 22% growth overall. Search entrance pages are up 28% and search entrance keywords are up 26% over last year. 77% of all visitors were new (unique) visitors to the site in August 2012. Most Popular pages for August 2012
were: Romance, Specials & Packages, Romance Packages, Spa, Beach, Maine, New Hampshire, Weddings and Family. New Specials & Packages themes are Romance, Fall Foliages, What's Brew-Inn? and Culinary.
July: July 2012 traffic has increased 33% over July 2011. Year to date, traffic is up 48% over same period last year (January-July 31st 2012 vs. January-July 31st, 2011). International visitors has increased for the same period last year: United Kingdom (22%), Canada (27%), Germany (12%), Switzerland (300+%). 78% of Traffic is unique visitors and 22% are returning.
