Wedding Overview:
Having your wedding at The Wentworth would not only be an elegant affair, but it would also be an intimate affair no matter how large or small your guest list will be.  Why share your special day with another couple? Our general rule is to host only one wedding per weekend which gives our bridal couple the feeling of having the inn to themselves.   Mostly everyone at the hotel will be here for you, just an extension of your home.  Because our weddings are more than just a wedding reception, often the festivities will begin on Friday evening with a welcome reception.  This is a great opportunity to welcome guests in a fun, informal environment, as well as some guests just meeting for the first time.  There are no time restraints for your reception other than NH law for last call.  So whether your looking to have a 2 hour reception or 6 hour reception, the night is yours.

Some of our newly renovated rooms now offer gas-lit fireplaces for chilly, cozy nights. Executive Chef Brian J. Alberg prepares contemporary regional cuisine rooted in New England tradition and sources a large percentage of menu ingredients locally. The Lion’s Den pub offers nightly entertainment and casual fare. Couples may use the Inn's outdoor heated pool and hot tub – surrounded by a heated stone patio for year-round enjoyment! – and our fitness room. Or, make an appointment with our massage therapist for extra pampering.

Step across the massive marble threshold of this beautiful, historic property, drop your bags and breathe a sigh of relief.  Welcome to a house built for happiness and hospitality, a home away from home.

Stop first in the heart of our home - the conservatory dining room. With magnificent views of the Green Mountains, an intricately carved mahogony mantle, snacks and beverages all day, and our amazing three-course breakfast, this room will nourish your body and soul.
The enormous patio and porch beckon with Adirondack rocking chairs, patio tables, porch swings and views you will never forget.
Retreat to your guest oasis, with fireplace, two person whirlpool tub and organic bath amenities, for some intimate time.

Stroll the exquisitely landscaped grounds and expect a few surprises: a labyrinth in the meadow, a cozy gazebo.  Experience why the inn has been awarded the AAA Four Diamond rating since 1999. The Inn at Ormsby Hill is a world away from cares, where you can be your true self.

"You'll know you're at The Inn at Ormsby Hill when...it's impossible to look out any window without taking in delicious mountain vistas."—Boston Globe

Breakfasts are served in our beautiful conservatory, which is the perfect setting to awaken your senses with a steaming cup of tea or fresh brewed coffee.  A fresh fruit dish (using local fruits when available) may be drizzled in a coconut lime sauce or a green tea-mint syrup.  A basket of Japanese milk bread, served with butter and locally produced jams will accompany breakfast.  These fragrant mini loaves are an Ormsby Hill exclusive, shaped and baked fresh every morning by Diane.
The main course consists of a hot entree such as a polenta souffle with rainbow chard, herbed cherry tomato strata or mascarpone stuffed French toast with berry maple syrup, and a side of Vermont breakfast meats such as maple sausage or bacon.
Breakfasts include home grown and local, seasonal ingredients when possible and are delicious, fulfilling and healthful.

Breakfast time is one of our favorite parts of the day – it’s when in the span of just a few hours all our guests gather in one place and share with us their adventures, those from the day before or those that await the day ahead. On most mornings you’ll find Frank cooking in the kitchen and Julie in the dining room attending to your needs.

Our breakfast menu philosophy is a lot like our approach to everything at the Inn at Manchester: uncomplicated comfort.

So Frank’s menu is a collection of traditional comfort food favorites and hearty farmhouse classics: buttermilk pancakes, various quiches, french toast, omelette and cottage cakes. The selection changes daily with a rotation that gives you the opportunity to enjoy an egg entree one day and a syrup dish the next. If you prefer you can request eggs, prepared any style, on any day. We also offer a different breakfast meat each day: sausage, bacon, and ham. A fresh fruit garnish and toast, (usually made with locally produced Rupert Rising artisan breads) round out the meal. You’ll also find a selection of cereals, bananas, and homemade muffins available in the dining room to suit almost any taste. We proudly offer Vermont’s own, Green Mountain Coffee and selection of gourmet teas.

By the way, don’t be shy if you have an especially robust appetite. Breakfast seconds, and um, even thirds, are never any trouble – just ask. Of course we always do our best to accommodate special requests or dietary restrictions, just tell us what you need.

We would be happy to offer suggestions or make reservations for you at some of the area restaurants. Here are a few of our favorites:

Bistro Henry

Open for dinner Tues. – Sun. from 5 PM. Serving classic and updated bistro fare with an emphasis on fresh high quality ingredients and clean simple preparations. Award-winning wine list, full bar, children’s menu, excellent desserts, professional service and a comfortable atmosphere.
Candeleros

Enjoy burritos, enchiladas, burgers and wraps for lunch on one of our outdoor tables. Come for dinner, relax with a snifter of premium tequila while relishing tableside guacamole, rellenos, fajitas, and our homemade desserts. Voted one of the fifty best Hispanic restaurants in USA
Chantecleer Restaurant

Fine gourmet dining. Continental cuisine, including tableside service for such classics as Chateaubriand and Caesar salad. Proper attire (Jackets not required). Chef owned. Credit cards. Rte 7A (3.5 miles north of Manchester) East Dorset.

Since 1912, The Fairmont Copley Plaza has been at the heart of Boston's cultural community. To celebrate that heritage, the hotel has developed eight signature suites that celebrate the history and culture of Boston.  From visual and performance art to history and literature to technology and even to Boston's love affair with its sports teams, the themed suites feature unique artwork specially designed for each suite. While all the suites are similar in terms of décor and furnishings, each features artwork and accoutrements that showcase each organization. The Fairmont Copley Plaza worked with the archivists, curators and historians at each organization and attraction; selecting, in many cases, images that intertwine with the history of the hotel.
