The Vermont Inn is a 16 room family run Country Inn located in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Just 10 minutes from Killington and Rutland and 25 minutes from Woodstock. We offer 16 individually decorated guest rooms, some with whirlpool tubs, gas fireplaces, two room family suites, and deluxe suites. In 1893 Vermont Governor Carroll S. Page built the house for his family on the bluff in Hyde Park. A copy of the 1759 Georgian house in Cambridge, Massachusetts, known as the Longfellow House, it also had beautiful wood paneling, a drinking mountain of Vermont marble, and made-to-order mirrored mantle-pieces. For modern comfort we've in-room high speed internet and WiFi, cable TV, and VCR/DVD players and a fully handicapped accessible room with a private porch and garden. Many original details have survived the century and the house has been restored and decorated to preserve the gracious elegance of an earlier time.

Each morning you'll enjoy the full country breakfast that has become a Hill Farm Inn tradition. As part of the Vermont Fresh Network we strive to use as many locally produced ingredients as possible. We serve muffins, scones, and breakfast breads fresh from the oven, as well as fresh fruit and an assortment of juices. Then guests choose from a menu of traditional favorites including what we are told are the best blueberry pancakes around, served with local Vermont maple syrup. Other choices include French toast, eggs the way you like them, hand-cut bacon, maple sausage, homemade granola and more. Even our toast is made from home-baked bread. Beverages include Green Mountain Coffee, brewed decaf, hot chocolate, and assorted teas.
