If you are trying to decide between staying at a quaint and comfortable inn, but really want the amenities of a larger resort with spacious rooms and suites, you have found your home in Ogunquit!  Our location is ideal. Located just 400 yards south from the center of the village, The Admiral's Inn is just a short 3 minute walk into town, and about 3 - 5 minute walk to the entrance of Marginal Way, which leads to Perkins Cove. You can walk to the main beach, restaurants, and shopping. Enjoy the pleasures of staying in the village centre without all of the noise and congestion.

Our amenities include: 2 heated pools, 2 hot tubs, restaurant and lounge, full service day spa, massage, health club, sauna, free wireless and wired internet, fire pit, recreation area, guest computer, and elevator in the new building.

The Admiral's Inn has newly renovated rooms with either king or queen beds in its historic inn (formerly owned by Totie Fields). The larger hotel rooms are new and have flat screen TV's, granite countertops, coffee makers and fridges. The new large suites are located in our new building, and have a combination of Jacuzzis, fireplace, balconies, and kitchenettes. We understand it is not easy checking out all of the places on line and figuring which one is right for you. We are a clean and friendly place where we truly strive to give you the best customer service and the best value you have probably not received in years. We are also real. If you want to be left alone on your romantic getaway, you can do that. If you want to be social and hang out with our other guests in our restaurant, lounge, fire pit, recreation area, or one of our heated pools or hot tubs, you can do that. The choice is yours.

    Overview Text:
The Wilburton Inn, once the largest private estate in Manchester Vermont, was the summer home of Chicago millionaire and philanthropist James Wilbur. At the turn of the twentieth century, Robert Todd Lincoln, the President’s son, and his friend, Chicago businessman Albert Gilbert, created two vast neighboring estates. Gilbert situated his mansion on the crest of a hill with spectacular views of the mountains and the Battenkill Valley below. His architect blended an English Tudor style with the new modernism promoted by Frank Lloyd Wright. Wilbur bought the 400-acre property in 1906 and named it Wilburton Hall. The original 1902 mansion is complemented by villas built as homes for the sporting families who developed the estate as an elegant, exclusive club in the 1950’s.

Georgette Wasserstein Levis and Dr. Albert Levis purchased the Inn in 1987 from RKO General Tire and transformed it into a 25-acre historic boutique hotel, with modern luxury.  The main rooms of the inn are furnished with antiques and oriental carpets.  Many rooms feature high four-poster beds and fireplaces. Dr. Levis was born in Greece and is a retired psychiatrist whose sculpture and art collection graces the gardens of the estate. Georgette is the sister of Wall Street legend Bruce Wasserstein and Pulitzer Prize winner playwright Wendy Wasserstein. Georgette and her sisters are part of the best-seller book Sisters. Their son Oliver Levis, a graduate of Cornell’s Agriculture School, has revived the Wilburton’s original status as a gentleman’s farm. Once again, the hillsides and meadows are blooming with flowers, organic greens, and heirloom vegetables.

Located in the National Historic district of Manchester Village, the Wilburton offers fine dining, marvelous views, pool, tennis, nature walks and nearby ski mountains, golf, biking and designer outlet shopping. The views from the Wilburton, over the valley and toward the surrounding mountains, are among the finest in Vermont.

The Wilburton’s restaurant includes three dining areas as well as the spacious marble outdoor terrace—all with spectacular views of the mountains. Guests often began an evening with cocktails on the terrace in the summer or by the living room fireplace in the fall and winter. The Billiard Room maintains the feel of a Robber Baron retreat with mahogany paneling, vintage racehorse prints and a massive fireplace. The airy Terrace Room and the gracious Battenkill Room are ideal for private dining or group events. The outdoor marble terrace is the perfect location for a group to enjoy an informal dinner or reception and watch the sun set over the valley.
The menu presents classic cuisine with a contemporary European flair and an emphasis on fresh local produce. Oliver Levis, a graduate of Cornell’s Agriculture School, has planted the Inn’s hillside with organic vegetables and herbs.

    Overview
    Overview Text:
Jay Peak Resort has just completed $300 million of expansion showcased by "The Pump House," 50,000 square ft. indoor water park; a 18 Hole Championship Golf Course with new Clubhouse, the Ice Haus Arena; an NHL sized indoor ice arena for hockey, curling and skating, a 350 person state of the art conference center and brand new on mountain accommodations highlighted by the Tram Haus Lodge, a 57 suite luxury slopeside hotel including studios, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom suites. Self catering with fireplaces and living areas, these suites are located a mere few steps from the aerial Tram to mountain summit, 2 quad lifts and beginner surface lift and learning area. The ski and snowboard rental shop is conveniently located here as well. The hotel includes a cafe-(Aroma), the superb apres ski option-Tower Bar, and a restaurant with a Vermont Farm to Table menu (Alice's Table).

The Tram Haus Lodge seeks to make its guests really feel, see, and taste the region, the Northeast Kingdom in Northern Vermont. The decor througout the Lodge features old tram cable used throughout the hotel on exterior deck railing, signage, the lobby chandelier and floor lamps, and toe kicks in the Tower Bar.

Chairlift towers and sheave wheels from the old Green Mountain chair are incorporated in the very popular apres ski venue; The Tower Bar. The barnboard tables in Alice's Table were created by local carpenter Luke Hardy (Montgomery, VT) from reclaimed barn wood from neighboring towns of Franklin county.

Locally manufactured maple hardwood furniture by Lyndon Furniture (Lyndon, Vermont).

Wool throw blankets included in the units were manufactured by Johnson Woolen Mills (Johnson, VT).

Jay Peak Resort is a now a premier four season destination and is the perfect setting for corporate/conference events and meeting space, destination weddings, group golf outings, destination hockey tournaments, school trips to the massive indoor water park, and fall foliage viewing. With a large bed base, new attractions, 6 restaurants, spa, cafes, and summer music series, Jay Peak Resort is becoming the premier New England destination.

The Pump House Water Park opened in December 2011, and features one of the few indoor Aqua Loops in the country, "La Chute," a 60 ft drop into a sideways 360 degree loop into a 40 mph run out, activity river, double barrel Flow Rider for surfing, numerous other slides and pools, and full bar and food court. Day groups welcome as well.

The golf course, designed by world renowned architect Graham Cooke, has been Ranked #1 Public Course in Vermont by Golf Week Magazine. Just shy of 7,000 yards from the tips, it is never short on challenge, but with generous fairways, massive greens, and no blind shots, this gem nestled at the base of the Green Mountains offers a superb golf experience for all and is rivaled by few courses in the region.

The NHL sized indoor Ice Haus Arena plays host to dozens of hockey tournaments from Squirt/Atom, Pee Wee and Bantam, to Junior and Olympic Level of competition. In April of 2012, Jay Peak Resort played host to the Canadian, Slovakian, and Swedish National Women's Hockey Teams prior to the World IIHF Championships in Burlington, Vermont. The arena is state of the art, and with all of Jay Peak's other large amenities, is becoming a popular hockey tournament destination.

The one thing that hasn't changed at Jay Peak Resort is that the mountain averages the most snow in Eastern North America, around 377 inches annually. It has been the last resort in the East to close the past three seasons.

    ALICE'S TABLE
Alice's Table is named after Alice Lewis who worked at Jay Peak during the Walter Foeger years (1956-1968). She was the front office manager and a tireless worker handling everything from accounting and marketing to budgeting, parking and payroll. She embodied the Jay Peak character in everything she did and even ran a de facto boarding house for Jay Peak workers just across the road from the mountain. On many nights, she'd make dinner and invite those staying with her to join together. In that spirit, we've named this restaurant Alice's Table, and keep one table open, each night, so that folks can gather around, have dinner and share stories. Alice was always a behind the scenes talent and didn't ever want the light on her. We're happy to have the opportunity to share her story and welcome you to her Table.

    For reservations call 802.327.2323

    TOWER BAR
Tower Bar draws it's name from the chairlift towers and sheave wheels from the Green Mountain Chair that were used to fabricate the four tower seating fixtures in the Tower Bar. James Vaillancourt of Enosburg, VT modified the towers and created the steelwork and the wood surfaces of the custom Tower Bar fixtures were reclaimed lattice bridge truss planks from the Hopkins Bridge on the Montgomery/Enosburg town line, created and installed by Luke Hardy of Montgomery, VT.

Tower Bar is open daily from 11:00am to 9:00pm.  We've got a range of beer on tap and bottled, as well as the following specialty drinks (availability may be limited to season):

    JAYHATTAN
Bacon infused bourbon, Vermont maple syrup, Angostura bitter

    THL MARGARITA
Silver tequila, Triple Sec, lime juice, simple syrup, splash of OJ.

    AROMA CAFE
Currently, Aroma is open from 8:00am to 1:30pm for any of your caffeine or baked goods needs. Aroma is located next to the retail shop in the Tram Haus Lodge on the slope side of the mountain in front of the Flyer Quad.

    THE CLUBHOUSE GRILLE
The Clubhouse Grille, our newest food & beverage option, is located in the new Clubhouse building, sort of below where the Ice Haus arena sits.  Through May 14th, when the course is expected to open, Clubhouse will be closed Monday-Wednesday; open for lunch Friday - Sunday 11am 'til 9pm, and dinner Thursday - Sunday  5:30 'til 9pm.  Click through the links at right for sample lunch and dinner menus.

The Tram Haus Lodge includes 57 studio, 1-, 2-, and 3- bedroom suites and is located mere steps from the Tram and Flyer Quad. The hotel includes a spa (Taiga), a coffee shop (Aroma), bar (Tower Bar), and restaurant (Alice's Table). Sure it's shiny and new and wonderful but more importantly, we think, it includes thoughtful details that make it more Jay Peak:

-Old Tram cable is used throughout the hotel - on exterior deck railing, signage lobby chandelier and floor lamps, and toe kicks in the Tower Bar.
-Chairlift towers and sheave wheels from the old Green Mountain chair incorporated in the Tower Bar.
The barnboard tables in Alice's Table were created by local carpenter Luke Hardy (Montgomery, VT) from reclaimed barn wood from neighboring towns of Franklin county.
-Locally manufactured maple hardwood furniture by Lyndon Furniture (Lyndon, Vermont).

There are literally dozens of other examples that weave Jay Peak and its local community into the new Tram Haus Lodge. Yeah, it's a shiny new hotel but it's got a uniquely Jay Peak story.
