An Oyster Lover’s Dream and a Sweet Soiree
The festivities begin on Friday with a decadent evening dedicated to oysters. The Ahh shucks event partners with local Vineyard oyster farms to serve these briny delights in three unique ways: raw, dressed, and roasted. Each preparation is expertly paired with a selection of rosé and champagne, guided by professional sommelier service.
Later that same evening, indulge your sweet tooth at A Sweet Soiree, a dessert experience led by award-winning James Beard semi-finalist pastry chef Sofia Tejeda. In partnership with Nielsen-Massey Vanilla, Chef Tejeda will present a specialty dessert buffet featuring creations like Valrhona chocolate bon bons, banoffee tarts, and Mexican vanilla tres leches. Guests can even join in an interactive station to decorate traditional Mexican "sugar skull" cookies, all while enjoying a selection of dessert wines, cordials, and bourbon.
Saturday afternoon brings a delightful and entertaining experience: Lunch and Side of Standup. Join actor, comedian, and restaurant owner Craig Geraghty for a delicious meal featuring his award-winning New England clam chowder and crab cakes. The afternoon is complemented by complimentary wine, beer, and, of course, plenty of laughs, making for a fun and filling experience that is a perfect break from a day of exploring the island.
