Once a mid-century motor lodge, Camp DeForest has been thoughtfully transformed into an intimate, modern getaway that honors the traditions of summer camp and celebrates the spirit of Maine’s coast.

Start your mornings or regroup midday in the Lodge with a visit to the Camp Café, your friendly on‑site coffee stop. Friendly Camp Counselors serve freshly brewed coffee, tea, and a selection of light snacks, including muffins and seasonal pastries.

Fresh-brewed coffee, espresso, and custom camp drinks to fuel all if your adventures, plus a selection of pastries, bagels, and all kinds of savory snacks!

After Sunset
As the sun dips behind the pines, the Lantern Bar comes alive inside the Lodge at Camp DeForest. It’s the heart of camp after dark — where stories stretch long, glasses clink softly, and the glow of a lantern sets the mood for the evening. Enjoy classic and custom camp cocktails, regional craft beers, and thoughtfully chosen wines — alongside a small-plate menu featuring shareable snacks, late-night bites, and a few fireside favorites.

Our cozy, lodge inspired rooms and cabin have a modern-meets-rustic vibe but come complete with luxury bedding, walk-in rainfall showers, and all the amenities — like mini fridges, in-room coffee makers, and enhanced TV and entertainment options — for a stay so comfy you'll forget you're at "camp."
