Following a renovation in 2018, our boutique Cape Cod inn is the perfect blend of an authentic Cape Cod vibe with modern, elegant updates–all in the heart of Falmouth, MA. With the style and comfort of a modern coastal home, The Coonamessett provides the perfect home base for days spent exploring the Cape, whether that's by bike, shopping, a beach day, and more.

Dining

Eli’s Tavern is a living record of the history and heritage of The Coonamessett’s Cape Cod tradition, newly renovated and refreshed to reflect the updated Falmouth MA inn. While the new Eli’s feels more contemporary, our Cape Cod restaurant still houses the heart and soul that has made it a community hub for decades.

Eli’s Tavern features a fresh take on New England fare, plenty of good drinks, and no nonsense. Our laid back establishment is the perfect place to soak up the character of the Cape. Saddle up on a stool with one of our legendary bartenders for drinks and our full menu, or bring the crew in for a big family dinner. Our 90-seat dining room can accommodate good sized groups, and our newly opened Grange room is a perfect event space for larger parties, while never feeling stuffy.

Our chef brings a creative twist to timeless New England classics at our Cape Cod restaurant with local, seasonal ingredients presented in delicious and uncomplicated dishes.  So come on in, enjoy our commitment to hospitality and community, and while you’re here, buy a "pint for Eli" — it goes into our communal pool of drinks pre-purchased by everyday benefactors of the bar.

Come see why The Coonamessett offers the most unique Cape Cod hotel rooms! Offering 29 rooms and suites, all King, King Deluxe, and King and King Junior Suites, and the Lark Suite can accommodate up to 2 people. Village King Suites and the Queen Suite can accommodate up to 3, and Double Queen Suites and King Suite 2-Bedrooms up to 4 total guests (please check specific room descriptions below for details). Guests may enjoy a stay at The Coonamessett for a nightly rate ranging from $139-$409, depending on room chosen and season of travel. The hotel offers two ADA-accessible rooms. Please call for assistance booking those accommodations.
