Property Overview

Discover Briar Barn Inn just under an hour away, driving North from Boston! We are perfectly situated for getaways and vacations. The historic town of Rawley is near the coast, located about half way between Ipswich and Newburyport. It is the ideal pastoral and serene location of New England, yet, still close to the city. Many guests use our location as a getaway from the hustle and bustle. While other tourists use it as a central location to visit the entire area.

At our country Inn, you'll find 30 guest rooms, a restaurant, and a spa! For leisure, business and group lodging, we think you'll be thrilled with what you discover here! Our queen room offers affordable luxury, our double queen rooms have space for friends! The King Suites offer more room, including a seating area. Our largest accommodations are our Grand King Suites which feature ample floor space. All rooms have gas fireplaces, large flat screen tv's, mini fridges, original artwork, and custom furnishings as well as luxury amenities.  

We are the perfect location for weddings, business events, and celebrations of all kinds. Briar Barn Inn is ideally suited for weddings of 60-100 people. Our dedicated planning team is ready to help plan a wedding or event with ease.

Each room includes a working gas fireplace and a custom hideaway entertainment cabinet with a 46” flat screen television (programming included), and a unique selection of original artwork, custom furnishings, and antique pieces! Enjoy complimentary Spring Water and Coffee refreshed frequently in our common areas, a mini-fridge with a selection of convenience items, and access to our room service menu.
