Take advantage of our proximity to the ferry terminal and day trip to Martha’s Vineyard!  There is much to explore there — the beaches of Katama, the shops of Edgartown, the restaurants and nightlife in Oak Bluffs.  Don’t miss the Gingerbread Cottages (particularly charming on “Illumination Night”), the red cliffs of Aquinnah or the fishing village of Menemsha. Vineyard Sound is the body of water (three miles across) that the ferries cross daily delivering islanders and tourists to Marthas Vineyard.  The ferry trip alone is half the fun, wind in your hair and gulls flying after you, from the upper deck you get incredible views of the Airplane House, Nobska Light, West Chop and more.
