Located right in the heart of the historic district, The Cliffside Inn offers elegance, relaxation and delightful comforts. Steps from Newport's historic Cliff Walk and the restaurants and shops of downtown, our inn blends deluxe amenities with refined Victorian touches and gorgeous guest room accommodations for perfect getaways and vacations.

Dining

Enjoy breakfast every morning between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. in our grand Victorian parlor or, weather permitting, on the veranda and enjoy a multi-course breakfast celebrating freshly prepared foods and the finest ingredients. The seasonal menu at our Newport inn varies daily and features one of our renowned breakfast entrées.

Breakfast at Cliffside Inn also includes fresh juices and fruit, cereal, our homemade granola, fresh baked muffins and breads, yogurt, and our renowned French-press Legendary Blend coffee, roasted daily and blended exclusively for us by Custom House Coffee, Rhode Island’s top artisanal coffee roaster.

Rooms

Old world charm and modern amenities combine seamlessly to define romance and luxury at our Newport bed and breakfast, Cliffside Inn. Lodging guests at our romantic inn enjoy a gourmet breakfast, an afternoon wine and hors d’oeuvres reception, evening turndown, free Wi-Fi, and complimentary on-site parking.

Each of the 13 lodging rooms in the main house of our historic Newport RI lodging is appointed with vintage King or Queen-sized beds, imported linens, fine art, Oriental rugs, gas fireplaces, period fixtures, spa bathrooms with Aveda® amenities, LCD TVs, and iPod® sound systems.
