The Inn on Putney Road

THE INN ON PUTNEY ROAD is a relaxing yet sophisticated inn within walking distance of lovely historic Downtown Brattleboro, yet also nestled within some of the most majestic nature and walking trails in Vermont.

With a view of the water and our landscaped gardens, the Inn includes every convenience along with all original architectural detailing of the 1930’s French Manor style in which it was built.   

Each morning our guests enjoy a meticulously prepared 2-course gourmet breakfast, with French press coffee or tea. Our inn includes common areas with a fireplace, a vintage billiard table, and  two small conservatory rooms that can be used for solace, family games (of which we have many!), computer time, or garden viewing.  

Every guest room features its own private bathroom and many rooms include gas or electric fireplaces. We are located adjacent to the water and the grounds are directly accessible to over 17 miles of maintained hiking trails. Our formal gardens showcase one of the largest Japanese Maples in the United States. All guests enjoy free wifi, a flat panel TV and DVD player in each room, complimentary snacks and local sodas, and warm freshly baked cookies or pastries each afternoon.
