Property Overview

A Rustic Eco-Friendly Vermont Inn & Event Venue in the Heart of the Mad River Valley

Located in Fayston, Vermont the Mad River Barn provides convenient access to everything the Valley has to offer. Our inn, restaurant and pub are open year round serving the community through ski season, summer river days, foliage and everything in between. We are less than two miles from Mad River Glen ski area and less than five miles from Sugarbush Resort’s Lincoln Peak mountain. Three unique event spaces located on the property present the opportunity for a range of small intimate gatherings to 200 person events.

Dining

Our on site Pub & Restaurant operates seasonally. During ski season dinner is served Wednesday - Sunday. From June through October we are open to the Public on Thursday evenings. Private dining is available outside of restaurant operation hours. 

The Pub menu features upscale comfort food ranging from Smash Burgers to Hand Made Pasta entrees. Current sample menus can be found on the dining page of our website. 

Rooms

Rustic modern guest rooms are spread throughout three buildings on property. Each room has a unique layout maximizing space for larger families with numerous suites and mini suites throughout the property.

Amenities

The Barn is located on 17 acres situated in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest. Eighteen guest rooms are spread between three buildings on property. The Main Barn includes both a Dining Room and Pub space that can be enjoyed by guests. Complimentary breakfast is available to inn guests   year round, seven days a week. Our restaurant operates seasonally (Wed-Sun during ski season, and Thursdays in the Summer)
