This family-run inn has been renovated to the highest standards. A New England carriage house built in the 1830s their 23 amazing rooms and suites come complete with an updated private bath, seasonal air conditioning, smart TV, WiFi, complimentary local skincare products.  Splurge on local products in our gift area, fully stocked with items from our local friends.  You’ll find Vermont Flannel Company, Dorset Daughters Skincare, Mocha Joe’s coffee beans, Pitchfork Preserves jams, honey & pickled items, Dorset Maple Reserves maple syrup, Barnstead Inn swag including logo glassware, hats and ornaments.  

Full farm-to-table breakfast is included with every stay.  Other dining options include pop-up dinner events, from wood-fired brick oven pizza to special guest chef's! Join them for a custom-made cocktail or local microbrew.
