Property Overview

Discover Stowe's award-winning historic family-owned Vermont bed & breakfast inn with amazing mountain views (some of the best in Stowe!), a Select Registry property. We offer 9 intimate, peaceful guest rooms, fabulous art and modern conveniences with easy access to all Stowe has to offer - a short drive or 13 minute walk to the historical Village core with easy access to hiking, biking, skiing/snowboarding, winter sports and other local attractions. We are a truly unique accommodation in Stowe!

We include a delicious plated breakfast every morning, evening snack every night and offer hospitality with a personal touch. We welcome all, couples and companions, solo travelers, and families (kids over 8), and we are well-versed with dietary restrictions and preferences. Enjoy beer, wine, cider, cocktails and snacks available to enjoy while you play in our game room or soak in our hot tub.

To us, Vermont breakfast means locally sourced and fresh, highlighting local producers and products. We offer you variety, both sweet and savory, and can accommodate dietary preferences and needs.

Your stay at the Brass Lantern Inn includes not only a warm, friendly welcome, afternoon snack, a peaceful retreat into your distinctive guest room but also includes our complimentary, highly acclaimed breakfast.

We start with a course of fresh fruit, parfait, baked apple or baked item along with a full selection of juices, coffee, and teas. Your main entree rotates on a daily basis, sourced with local ingredients and prepared to order and with awareness of dietary restrictions you might have. 

Rooms

The Inn is graced with nine charming and well appointed guestrooms (each with a private ensuite bath) which are appropriately named after the expansive mountains and peaks of the Green Mountain Range in Vermont. Each room showcases gleaming antique wide plank floors and are individually decorated with carefully selected  furnishings, art, and accessories. All rooms are non-smoking, as is the entire inn. Individual heat and air conditioning are provided seasonally. Your room rate includes a Vermont Fresh breakfast each morning of your stay.
