Property Overview

Take a moment to relax and unwind at The Old Stagecoach Inn, built in 1826 and located in the heart of Waterbury - Vermont's recreational crossroads. Enjoy a local craft beverage in our cozy library bar or walk just 100 yards to multiple fantastic local restaurants, pubs, and shops. We look forward to welcoming you to our home!

Dining

In the morning, guests come down to a beautiful sight: a buffet table is loaded with muffins, pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, juices and varieties of Waterbury's very own Green Mountain Coffee. Then come individually prepared selections cooked to order from the kitchen: Eggs Benedict, Belgian waffles, a variety of pancakes and omelets, cob smoked bacon, sausage, Huevos Rancheros (a favorite of the locals) to name a few. In fine weather you can enjoy all this on our beautiful outside deck.

Rooms

Because the Inn is the restored residence of a 19th century millionaire, no two rooms are exactly alike. All are warm, attractive, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Most have a private bath, and all have air conditioning. Several are large enough to accommodate families or groups traveling together. All rooms have free WiFi.

Downstairs we have a large parlor with a cozy fireplace, information on local activities and attractions, books, and games to entertain you. And don't forget to visit our library bar for your favorite local beers, ciders, and spirits.
