Allagash Brewing Company
You’ve likely heard of this popular brewery: Allagash Brewing Company is a proud Certified B Corp in Portland, Maine. This brewery was founded in 1995 by James Beard Award winner, Rob Tod, and since then, they’ve been dedicated to crafting a wide array of award-winning beers—all while working to reduce their brewery’s impact and giving back to the community that has supported them along the way. The team loves immersing themselves in the work of improving the company, community, and quality of beer.
Bissell Brothers
Bissell Brothers was founded in 2013 in Portland, Maine with a mission: to change people's perceptions of what beer and the beer experience can be, while always staying dedicated to their home state. When they first started in the industry, their goal was to keep it as straightforward as possible—to craft flavors and experiences that the people of Maine hadn’t experienced before, and serve them up fresh. If you’re a fan of IPAs or ales, try their Memories Remain or Hearts of Pine. For those of us that love it more juicy and fruity, opt for the Reciprocal.

Maine Beer Company
Beer lovers flock to Freeport to experience Maine Beer Company. They’re not only known for their IPAs and pale ales, they’re also recognized by their true and unyielding commitment to the environment. When they founded the brewery in 2009, brothers David and Daniel Kleban were determined to create a company focused on doing good through great beer. This goal remains true to this day and they keep their “do what’s right” motto at the forefront of every decision they make, from how they treat their employees, to the beer they brew, to how they take care of the world around us.
Mason’s Brewing Company
At Mason’s Brewing Company, they believe that to create a perfect beer destination in Maine, you have to do your research first. This is exactly what they’ve been doing. From Germany to Belgium to California, they have traveled all over the world visiting brewhouses and beerfests in hopes of bringing back the perfect formulas for this brewery—and it sure does show. They believe that memorable beer isn’t just about the taste; it’s about the experience, culture, and history of the beer that keeps craft beer lovers coming back for more.
Tributary Brewing Company
Founded in 2014 by Tod Mott and his wife Galen, Tributary Brewing Company is truly an institution. Tod has always dreamed of having a brewery of his own and now, he’s been the master brewer for over three decades. You might have heard of his original recipe, Harpoon IPA, earning him the title of New England’s brewing legend. Now, ten years later, they’re keeping the business in the family as they expand to include their son, Woody, as head brewer. Together they create an amazing selection of true-to-style beers and lagers, including the highly acclaimed Tributary Pale Ale, international style lagers, pilsners, dark ales, and Mott the Lesser Imperial Stout, the heir to Kate the Great.
