Fall Foliage Central Vermont – between Hartford and Rutland – offers some of the best foliage drives in the region. 506 On the River, a family owned inn just outside of Woodstock along the Ottauquechee River, is a comfortable and inviting destination only a few minutes’ drive from the village of Woodstock. The upscale-yet-affordable inn offers river view rooms and suites that are relaxed country contemporary.
